With our support the partners from Hawary Galla Organisation conducted various lieracy courses for women in rural areas. One of these women recently gave a long interview in TV.

This year Wadi started once again to support literacy classes for women. This project was not only very successful but encouraged various local TV stations to report about it.
Naska Khan, a woman with determination and a survivor of Anfal, is one of these students. “It was always my dream to learn reading and writing”, she says. From day one, she was vocal about her struggle and success; not only did she pursue her long-lost dream, but she also became the face of our activities in the media.
In this interview with Mrwary Show from Khak TV Naska revisits her past, remembers her martyred family, and hopes for a better future for survivors like herself.
